Let Truth Be Your Light

Ananda, a follower of the Buddha, recorded much of his life and teachings including this quotation from a well known conversation between himself and the Buddha. "Ananda, let yourself be your light and your refuge; seek no other refuge. Let the Dharma be your light and your refuge; seek no other refuge." The Dharma is a complex idea, but may be said to represent the natural law which orders the universe, the sum of the teachings of the Buddha, or 'truth'. A wonderful phrase to guide us on life's journey.

Sterling silver will retain its luster for years and frequent wearing of your jewelry will help prevent tarnishing. We recommend polishing your sterling silver jewelry with a dry silver polishing cloth available at most grocery or hardware stores. We do not recommend polishing with silver polish as this may remove the antiquing. When you are not wearing your jewelry, storing your silver in a jewelry bag will help prevent tarnishing.

pi-disc
Laurel Elliott's Pi Disc is a modern interpretation of the ancient Chinese form of a circle within a circle, an enduring symbol of nobility, purity, constancy and eternity.  The circle having no end is itself a symbol of infinity.  Its classic shape looks beautiful when worn, moving easily from day to night.  The chain can be knotted on the disc or simply slipped though the open circle providing an additional 2" in length.  It also can be used without a chain as a touchstone or keepsake for the pocket, desk or nightstand.
